About
Yoga that meets you where you are.
OJAS is led by Almira Rao — eleven years of teaching, five of them figuring out how to make a real practice work through a screen.

I didn’t grow up flexible or calm.
I came to yoga in my twenties with a desk-bound back and no patience for anything slow. What kept me was a teacher in Mysuru who refused to let me skip the basics — and the strange, steadying effect of doing the same simple thing every morning.
I taught in packed Mumbai studios for years. Wonderful rooms, but the people who needed the practice most — new parents, shift workers, anyone far from a good studio — could rarely get there. So I spent five years learning to teach through a camera without losing what makes a room a room.
OJAS is where all of it lives now: a studio in Bandra, a full online library, weekly live classes, and a community that keeps people coming back long after motivation runs out.
What we teach around
Accessible before impressive
Every practice has an entry point. We teach the version you can actually do today, then build.
Consistency over intensity
Ten minutes most days beats ninety minutes once a month. The plans are built around real life.
A room, not an audience
The community is small enough to be known in. You are a person here, not a follower count.
The short version

Your first practice can be today.
Join free, open a course, and move for ten minutes. That’s the whole ask.
